We invite all members to participate in club events.  These events are meant to be a fun time out and a chance to meet other members.

TOURNAMENT DEFINITIONS:

Club Championship: A 36 hole stroke play event.  Stoke play is a round(s) of golf in which the score is kept by counting strokes. Winners are decided by total amount of strokes over the competition in both gross totals (total number of shots) and net totals (total number of shots minus the players handicap). The overall Club Champion is eligible to participate in the RCGA Canadian Club Chapions Championship.

Match Play: Match play is one of the main forms of competition in golf. It pits players one against another, rather than one against the field as in stroke play. Opponents compete to win individual holes, and the player who wins the most holes wins the match. Handicap differential is taken and higher handicaps receive "strokes" on the most difficult holes.

Scramble: In a scramble, each player tees off on each hole. The best of the tee shots is selected and all players play their second shots from that spot. The best of the second shots is determined, then all play their third shots from that spot, and so on until the ball is holed. A very fun format and a great way to meet other members.

GRIPS GETTING SLIPPERY?  Then maybe it's time to get them replaced!  We offer re-gripping of clubs for only $5 tax included.
